Meet Us

Ava Naumoff, CT
(she/her/hers)

Ava is a Counselor Trainee currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Xavier University.

Ava believes strongly in the transformative power of therapy, as described by Lori Gottlieb in her book Maybe You Should Talk to Someone: “Most big transformations come about from the hundreds of tiny, almost imperceptible, changes we make along the way.”

Ava is interested in working with individuals of all ages and has a particular interest in working with individuals in the LGBTQIA+ community. Ava has experience working with individuals with Autism, ADHD, and developmental disabilities.

Ava seeks to provide an individualized therapeutic experience for each client and emphasizes a client-centered approach to therapy in which she meets clients exactly where they are in the moment.

In her free time, Ava enjoys reading, painting, getting active, and spending time with family, friends, and her two Cavaliers. She is working under the supervision of Laura Edwards, LPCC-S.
