Kristen Swank, CT

Kristen Swank is a Counselor Trainee, currently pursuing her studies at Xavier university. She holds a Liberal Arts Degree and a Master of Theology degree from Xavier University. She is a member of the Ohio Counselors Association and the American Counseling Association.

She studied the Enneagram and received a certification in typology and is a member of the International Enneagram Association. Kristen has training in mindfulness-based stress relief. She is yin yoga instructor and a certified Reiki practitioner. She enjoys spending time with her family, practicing yoga and dancing. She is a gardener and avid chess player.

Kristen works with individuals and couples using a multicultural lens. She is based in the humanistic approach and the strength-based model with holistic wellness, including mind, body, and spirit. She supports clients in accessing the solutions with their own strengths, to make the desired changes in their lives.
 
She uses modalities of CBT, DBT, EMDR, Enneagram typology, person-centered, reality, and solutions focused therapies, and has experience working with depression, anxiety, PTSD, Complex Trauma, Medical Trauma, Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, Personality Disorders, and schizoaffective disorder.

She is working under the supervision of Laura Edwards, LPCC-S.
