Meet Us

Yolanda Evans, LPCC, LICDC
(she/her/hers)

I am Yolanda Evans, LPCC, LICDC, and I am dedicated to helping adults, adolescents, and families navigate life’s most difficult transitions. I specialize in supporting individuals facing challenges with substance use disorders, anxiety, depression, and trauma.

My approach to therapy is interpersonal, strengths-based, and collaborative. I help clients cultivate insight and effective coping strategies by drawing from evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Solution Focused Therapy, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). I also incorporate trauma-informed care and mindfulness techniques to help you feel grounded and empowered in your healing journey.

With over 12 years of clinical experience, I have developed a broad and compassionate perspective from my work in diverse settings, including inpatient, residential, community, and school-based programs. This background has prepared me to effectively support a variety of people, including those within the criminal justice population.

I hold a master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Xavier University. When I’m not working, I enjoy finding balance by traveling and cycling.

I believe that therapy is a journey of growth and transformation. I look forward to partnering with you to define your goals and achieve a more fulfilling life. Please reach out to schedule a consultation.
